Hey all!
I wanted to figure out my leucine intake (since it’s the amino acid that triggers muscle protein synthesis at about 2.5 grams).
Pea protein is 8.5% leucine, so if I understand it correctly, a 30-gram serving should contain 2.55 g leucine…
Or, does it go by the amount of protein per serving, which is 24g protein per 30g serving by weight? That would yield 2.05g leucine.
I know I’m kind of splitting hairs, but I want to get this right.
