Co-op expands plant-based Gro range with new products for summer

Co-op Gro range is releasing 6 new plant-based, summer-ready products. Giving us that summer feeling, even if the weather isn’t.

The Gro summer range includes Buffalo Cauliflower Wings, Cajun-style Butternut Ribs, Tomato & Basil Cocktail Sausages, Incredible Burger Bites, and for a sweet treat there’s Salted Caramel Swirl Ice-cream and an Ice-cream Selection Pack. Wow, where do we start!

The latest plant-based additions will mean that picnics and parties can be vibrant and exciting. With get-togethers with family and friends looking hopeful, Co-ops Gro range promises to have something for everyone.

A fresh, innovative take on your summer staples”

In a statement sent to Vegan Food and Living, Co-op shared “We’ve not been able to say ‘YES’ to very much for a while now, but this summer’s looking hopeful for the return of get-togethers”

“We’ve got you covered for all the festivities that are hopefully on the horizon”

The supermarket also promised that the Gro summer range is “A fresh, innovative take on your summer staples”.

The new launch comes only weeks after Co-op announced to cut the cost of 29 plant-based products from the Gro range, making them the same prices as meat and dairy-based equivalents.

The price cuts are part of the Co-ops new sustainability drive to reach carbon-neutral by 2025.
