Coming Back to Fitness : veganfitness


I’m not sure where else to post this, but last August I injured my abdominal muscles while powerlifting. I finally got around to seeing a physical therapist around the end of March and she helped me work through the issues and start to rebuild.

I’ve been putting on pounds and hating my body for the last half a year, but now that the worst of it is behind me I’ve been able to start a simple PPL workout with 3-4 main exercises and then a session of some of my PT recommended exercises afterwards.

Just being able to feel my body exhausted from working out again is such an awesome feeling. I know I won’t be back to where I was for months, if not a year. But I’m okay with that, because it’s important to take time to heal. I can’t wait to eventually get back to powerlifting.
