Concern with protein. : veganfitness

My wife is going vegan due to some health issues, and I’m thinking of doing the same due to making it easier on her (she’s the only one that cooks and I don’t want her to have to cook two meals) and I have a huge passion for animals.

My concern is that I take in about a gram of protein per pound of body weight and about 25 percent of that is through protein powder. I’m looking to switch to pea protein but all I found is expensive ass bottles and I read articles saying that they could be cross over with dangerous metals. (Don’t trust the source but it’s still a concern.)

Is there any brand or another source of liquid protein that you can recommend?

[I know that everyone calculates protein needs differently and I’m not looking for advice on that. I’ve found that what I’m doing works best for me]
