Okay, so I got way too excited. This past week has been my first week back in the gym since December due to covid lockdowns. I did my deadlifts on saturday and didnt take it easy – yes I am dumb.
Any advice on how to ease the lower back pain I’m now experiencing? Muscles are twinging with most movement especially bending over. Pretty painful, I had a hot water bottle on it all day yesterday. I’m guessing I probably need to rest for a couple days and have been doing my normal evening stretching routine. Any way I can relieve this faster?
(I’m pretty sure this isnt a form problem as I havent had pain like this from deadlifting before, I just massively over did things like a fool)
