Every time I try to go plant based I gain weight. Help?! : veganfitness


My calorie goal is 2900 but I am so hungry all the time so I can’t stick to it when plant based. I get 150g or more of protein a day and lots of healthy fats from nuts, seeds, avocados etc.

I do train a lot:

-Run 30+ miles a week

-Resistance train 4-5 times

-5-10k steps per day

However when I am not plant based I can stick to my calories (mostly) and therefor not gain weight while doing the same routine.

Makes me want to not bother 🙁

Any suggestions?
