Increasing my leg press without back strain?! : veganfitness


I (35F) have been lifting weights now for 3 months and I am stripping fat faster than I ever have before. Most of my clothes are not fitting. I am feeling the need to increase my leg press weight. I am currently lifting 32kg and I am ready to move up into the 40kg, I did this last week but caused myself back strain. It went after 2 days but I dont want to mess myself up.

How can I increase this without serious injury or should I just increase reps at 32kg?

Im supplementing with a vegan multivit (inc vitamin D) and drinking protein shakes regularly.

Any recommendations on how to work on this?
