My max heart rate is around 196 bpm. During a 30 min Zumba session, my average heart rate is 135 and the high is 170.
Would you consider this active recovery? I do cardio for heart health and to warm my muscles up/stretch, not weight loss. This is my proposed/current schedule:
Monday – general full body strength and 20 min cardio
Tuesday – 1 hour cardio
Wednesday – 30 min Zumba
Thursday – general lower body strength and 20 min cardio
Friday – general upper body strength and 20 min cardio
Saturday and Sunday – strolls and other light activity
