New family-friendly vegan takeaway restaurant opens in London

A new family-friendly vegan burger restaurant has opened serving up a 100% vegan menu across South and West London.

Aptly named BVRGER, the new venture is a collaboration between three entrepreneurs, Jeremy Ford-Young, Paul Brothers and Afzal Khan and is located in in Medz Corner – Food Court in Kensington.

The trio has curated an innovative menu suited to vegans, veggies and flexitarians, featuring flame-grilled chicken burgers, not chicken bites, truffle fries and hand-spun milkshakes.

But this isn’t just your regular burger bar. Bored of plain brioche buns? Opt for vibrant beetroot or devilishly dark charcoal buns instead.

Moreover, the team has developed in-house seasonings which take their food to the next level, in addition to intriguing sauces such as the Avocado Vayo and the Garlic Cheese dip.

With almost 600,000 people signing up to Veganuary this year, now is the perfect time for a new vegan venture to satisfy those meaty cravings.

‘The response has been amazing’

Speaking to Vegan Food and Living, BVRGER co-founder Jeremy Ford-Young told us:

“From conception to launch took us 4 months and it was important to “future proof” our business model so we could trade during the most challenging of times for the hospitality industry.

“So far the response has been amazing and confirmed our belief – there is definitely a lack of high-quality convenience food in the vegan market (especially family-friendly restaurants) so we hope to add 3 more stores this year in London.”

”Designed to satisfy’

Jeremy continued, “BVRGER has been created collaboratively by vegans and non-vegans, for both vegans and non-vegans alike.

“Having struggled to find high quality, conscientious convenience food to feed our own families, we saw a need for a premium takeaway restaurant that could bring fresh, plant-based, convenience food to the masses without compromising on taste or quality.

“Our burgers are designed to satisfy the meat cravings of the most hardened carnivores, passionate vegans, and everyone in between.”

BVRGER is open for takeaways now, from Deliveroo and Uber Eats in South and West London.
