Red Meat, Cholesterol and Saturated Fat : veganfitness

Hello vegoons, I have to make a presentation for college talking about nutrition aspects of red meat. Now, I’m a vegan for ethical reasons so I really didn’t leave meat because of sat fat and cholesterol, but of course I have to talk about that. What is the strongest evidence linking the last mentioned things with Cardiovascular Disease and different types of cancer? (Everything I find in vegan websites like PCRM talks about processed meat with I think everyone agree is unhealthy, except for Ketos lol)
