Vegan jello ingredients

  • Fruit juice: any type of fruit juice will do. You could also use half the amount of fruit juice, and half the amount of water.
  • Agar powder: I’ve only tried this recipe with agar powder, not with agar flakes. If agar flakes are all you can find at your grocery store, follow the package instructions to know the amount of them you need for 2 cups of liquid (480 ml).
  • Granulated sugar: sugar is optional, especially if you’re using only juice and not water. However, the vegan jello tastes better if you add some sugar. Any type of sugar will do.
