Recently infamous Bodybuilder Arnold Schwarzenegger made a post saying this…
“I doubled down on my workouts and bike rides and cut out the bread this month and I’m almost at my goal weight of 218 — well, to be totally honest, I actually still have 5lbs to go, so I’m not there yet,”
And has made some noise…
So the main reason he has cut out the bread is to stay in a calorie deficit
Because that is the one and only way you can lose weight
He didn’t mention he is cutting out all carbs!
Cutting out carbs might put you in a calorie deficit, but if it doesn’t, you’re not going to lose weight
Plus, carbs are tasty, are the body’s main source of energy, and…
Restricting carbs can lead to nutritional deficiencies, headaches, lethargy, dizziness, and irritability
That’s all my clients eat the carbs they like!
But if you tend to overeat certain foods, like Bread, then cutting them out might be beneficial
So eat your carb, stay in a deficit, and lose weight!
